Melanie Garcia : Front End Supervisor at Albertsons

We see their faces everyday, the men and women that work tirelessly as the weeks and months of this pandemic roll on. Some of us might be working from home, but many, many essential workers face daily challenges, everyday navigating safety and duty.
This is Melanie Garcia, For the past 2 years, she has been a Front Line Supervisor at Alberston’s. You can tell when we spoke that Melanie is a friendly person who cares about her job. Even though it was a busy time of day, Melanie took the time to talk to me and she really gave off a great vibe. Albertson’s is lucky to have her.
Melanie states, “The pandemic was scary at first, it was tough. I remember it being so busy, so many people. It’s still very busy but I’ve have gotten used to wearing a mask and keeping my hands sanitized. Sometimes it is hard to talk through the mask to customers for 8 hours but we all do our best to communicate and help each other."
