Florence Nightingale and the 12 Vaccines : Florence Nightingale was born on May 12, 1820, in Florence, Italy. She was a British nurse, social reformer and best known as the founder of modern nursing and was a pioneering of public health.

Because of FN, nursing is one of the most regulated and respected professions in the world. She improved sanitary conditions so much that she garnered a reputation as being a reformer and as an advocate of public health. FN was an amazing women that devoted her life to effecting change in medical care and the world is a better place because she pursued her inner call to nursing.
