I am a self-taught photographer. My work captures people's everyday life. My photographic work has been published in scholarly journals and is also found in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago and the Krannert Art Museum of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The three "Mighty Frontline!!" photographs (Fear Configurations 1, 2, and 3) were inspired by the struggles and strength experienced by essential workers such as nurses, doctors, and journalists in the context of Fear during Trump's covid era.
Trump disputes Nurse's account of the lack of access of PPE; in the process, Trump causes Fear but the nurse remains firm and strong. The book "Fear", by Bob Woodward, reminds the viewer of what is taking place during the Trump era. (May 6, 2020)
