Mia is a jack of all trades and likes to experiment with many mediums. Mia has obtained her art degree from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. is a published children’s book illustrator and a high school art educator for Ysleta ISD.

 Mia’s next piece is called REMEMBER ALL CAPS. . . .

It is a tribute to British-American rapper MF DOOM, Mia’s favorite rapper.

Mis states, Growing up I would listen to MFDOOM and felt he was so powerful with his words, he was a huge inspiration to me and by far one of my favorite rappers of all time.

Noted for his intricate wordplay, signature metal mask, and "supervillain" stage persona, MFDOOM became a major figure of underground hip hop in the 2000s.  Sadly, MF Doom died on October 31, 2020 at the age of 49.
